This venue was all the rave amongst our wedding guest. It is a hidden gem with an artistic charm that is located in an old industrial area set between north and west Buffalo. My husband and I held our ceremony in the courtyard across the street from the reception venue, which made for a super convenient transition between spaces. Most of our guest were from out of town and enjoyed the fact that they were able to stay in the same vicinity all day. The backdrop of the ceremony was up against a beautiful moral that allowed the photographers to capture beautiful pictures. As you may have already read from other posts, the courtyard is a shared space used by surrounding businesses so we did have a few onlookers during our ceremony, but they were respectful so it did not bother our party at all. The reception was held in the loft which is upstairs from the restaurant with views of the brewing tanks and outdoors, which provided more opportunity to capture great pictures. We received A LOT of compliments from our guest. They loved that the space was non-traditional, yet beautiful set up which was the result of great management by our Event Coordinator, Kayla Heaps.

My husband & I got married in The Loft space at Thin Man Chandler Street and I cannot express enough how amazing it was. For any potential couples looking, I echo all the other reviews on the awesome staff, incredible food, and overall attention to detail. Kayla & Maren took care of so many of the particulars I was stressing about (coordinating vendors, decorating the space, etc.) and made the experience wonderful. My guests were so impressed with Maren and all the staff, how friendly, helpful, and nice everyone was. The food was sooooo good (we did tacos & meat carving stations) and the space itself is beautiful. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the venue if you are looking!

We got married here in October 2021. Kayla was the absolute BEST to work with. We had some wild ideas and requests, and she accommodated every insane call and email we threw at her. Everything leading up to the wedding itself was smooth and calm, no hiccups at all. As for the day of, everything went perfectly! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the bar staff was incredible. We didn’t have a single complaint. We also did our rehearsal dinner there the night before the wedding and that was great too! I would definitely check this place out if you are looking for a venue.

My daughter recently had her wedding ceremony and reception here. Thank you to Kayla and her trained staff for making her day memorable. The room comfortably accommodated 120 guests (8 to a table). There was enough space to have 60 chairs set up just for the ceremony. After the seats were removed, the area became the dance floor. The appetizers were plentiful. The family style dinner was served hot and had great presentation. Our dinner consisted of delicious chicken, prime rib, fresh grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. Vegetarian meals were provided upon request. All guests received their food at the same time. The bar package was incredible! They even served 2 signature drinks. I highly recommend The Loft @ Thin Man Brewery.

This venue is in a great location, not far from downtown and has a great aesthetic and comes with a lot of added bonuses that many other venues don’t come with (tables, chairs, some decor). There is the option to host your ceremony outdoors in the courtyard across the street or inside! There is also lots of great spots to take pictures all right in the vicinity of your ceremony and reception. But BY FAR the best thing about this venue is the people! HUGE SHOUTOUT to Kayla (the Event Manager) & her assistant Maren for making our day amazing and taking all the stress and pressure off our plates. They took care of EVERYTHING venue side and I could not have asked for better people to put my trust in for such a big day! The bartenders and the waitstaff were also excellent and also a BIG shoutout to the Chef and kitchen staff for the AMAZING food. Seriously everyone was raving about how perfect the day was and how good the food was. Also a big thank you to Amanda, the manager downstairs, you and your staff were amazing day of and leading up to the wedding as well. I work in the events industry and helped planned dozens of weddings in the Buffalo area. I would be hard pressed to find a better venue than Thin Man! EVERYONE felt welcome and taken care of and we were beyond thrilled with how everything went. Thank you again Thin Man @ Chandler Team. We appreciate you!

We had the best experience with Kayla and all the staff at the Loft! Kayla worked with us throughout the entire planning process and was extremely responsive, communicative, and professional! Kayla was accommodating with our specific requests including decorating, food allergies, etc. The bartenders did a great job keeping up with our thirsty crowd and the servers served the food with smiles on their faces! The food was AMAZING and our guests were extremely impressed and satisfied with the food! Many have told us it was the best wedding reception food they had ever had and we have to agree! We would recommend this venue to any couples looking to have their wedding in a rustic, urban setting that they can make their own!

We held a Celebration of Life here for my husband, with a brunch and memory sharing with 130 guests. The venue was perfect for a large gathering, with plenty of space for tables, food stations, bar, photograph display and a 5 piece band. Kayla was amazing in helping us plan, table set-up and decor, and stayed from early set-up through cleaning at the end. Pricing was very reasonable. The food and drinks were beautifully displayed, delicious and graciously served by thoughtful and “on it”! servers. Everyone loved the setting and thoughtfulness. Acoustics for the band were great too! Our family and friends were charmed. Highly recommend the setting, the food, the drinks, and most of all the kind and thorough attention by the team to our event and guests.
